ARTSHACK CAFÉ & BAR

ArtShack is a non-profit ceramics studio, café & bar whose mission is to provide creative education to people who don't have access to it. This café is the middle of three adjacent storefronts on Bedford Avenue in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn. Artshack originally inhabited the spaces on both sides, and when the café space became available, our studio helped connect all three spaces and re-imagine what it would mean to operate a café and bar within an art studio, celebrating unbridled creativity. Leveraging Artshack's core business, young kids that participate in the after-school programs created all of the cups and dishware in this sustainably-minded operation.
